The novel COVID-19 disease has fast-tracked the impact of technology on how we live, work, and learn. The education sector is seeing a rapid change in the method of delivery, and learning has now moved out from physical classrooms to virtual environments.

OneNet Servers is excited to announce the edition of The Breakfast Chat, powered by START2DEV – an initiative aimed at mentoring startups on technical, business, innovation, sales, and marketing aspects of their careers to give them a flying start.

This month’s edition will hold on the 23rd of May, 2020, titled ‘EdTech: The Role of Technology in Inclusive & Sustainable Education’ with Bolaji Osime & Roland Sodeinde. 

The speakers for the event are experienced education professionals – Mrs. Abolaji Osime and Mr. Roland Sodeinde – with interest in education technology. They will be discussing the steps to develop an inclusive learning strategy using technology.

OUR SPEAKERS

bolaji Osime

Bolaji is the Founder of Global International College.  Global International College is one of the leading providers of secondary, university prep and foundation degrees for international universities in Nigeria. She is an alumnus of the prestigious London School of Economics where she obtained an LLM in law and the Lagos Business school for the OMP program.

She is passionate about addressing the systemic problems with education on state & federal wide level and has consulted for the Federal Ministry of Education, and DFID on the ESSPIN program as the Lagos State Team Lead where she developed strategies for a holistic reform of public and private education.

Her mission is to use her passion, creativity, and experience to help transform public & private education thereby unlocking opportunities for Nigerians through education, empowerment, and entrepreneurship. She is a winner of the Fate Foundation Alumni Entrepreneur of the year award.

Roland Sodeinde

Roland is the CEO of Dynamiss Consultancy Ltd.  Dynamiss is the Exclusive West African Partner on a Microsoft Premier Education Product called Dynamiss LP+365, a Learning Management System (LMS). The company is committed to increasing digital competence within the African educational system and has taken up the mandate to reach students and introduce digital learning in schools over the next few years.

With over 25 years of IT experience, Roland has held leadership roles in consultancy for enterprises like IBM, PWC, SAP on major global projects in USA, Europe, Asia, Africa & South America. He has worked closely with international governments and non-government initiatives to support the development of Africa.
