HOW TO ENABLE THIS FEATURE ON PLESK
- Click the website & Domain on plesk dashboard
- Click on add protected directory
- Type in the name of the path of the directory you want to protect on your website
- A optional box that will require you to enter a text that will be displayed to visitors who visit the password protected area.
- Click ok and confirm.

For Linux plesk directory: the specified directory for password protection will be created if it does not exist before.
