A well known domain name scam has been making the rounds again. An email, usually with the subject line: your-domainname.com - Final Notice, contains a message that is worded in such a way as to suggest the domain name listed is about to expire.  A link in the email message often labelled as "Secure Online Payment," directs the user to a payment web site.

More careful reading will reveal that the service being offered is a "search engine optimization submission."
